Summer 2022 Dissertation Grants for Graduate Students From All Disciplines
APPLICATION DEADLINE: MARCH 1, 2022
Nonprofit PhysioQ is thrilled to announce that it will be providing three Summer Dissertation Grants to graduate students in an effort to encourage young researchers and their work. Applicants can be from any sector in academia, but must be open to using smartwatch technology (watches, software and training included in the grant) on 10 study participants to collect objective, physiological data for their study.
Collecting health data through affordable wearable technology can provide groundbreaking insights to any research study, but may appear daunting to those that have never used these devices. With Labfront, we aim to change that perception!
Each grant includes:
- $1000 to be paid upfront
- 10 x Free Garmin Vivosmart 4 devices ($1200 value)
- 1 x Free Labfront Basic Account ($495 value)
- Initial onboarding assistance

- CV
- Personal statement
- *Please include whether you plan on having this dissertation published. Applicants looking to publish work will be prioritized
- Abstract of dissertation
- Two letters of support (one from advisor, one from research collaborator)

Award Announcement:
Selected applicants will be informed by end March 2022. They will receive the funds and tools at the end of May 2022.
